Runners and Wrigglers

Zoom, zoom, zoom!
For some reason our boys love playing with potatoes.
At least once a week! They are too funny!

M's first experience with paint! We would have done it sooner, but our paints were still packed up from when we boxed up everything back in May!

And we found a Giant Leopard Moth caterpillar in the yard today. L is on the phone, telling Nana all about the thing! We will have to let it go soon, as this kind of pillar hibernates all winter, then wakes up in the spring and starts eating before it does its turn-into-a-moth miracle trick.

Happy June!

Oh how happy this makes me - our clothes sitting in the sunshine to dry!

We went out to play yesterday, and to water the mud-block, er... garden... and the boys got all wet. L played at the edge of the puddles, using sticks to direct a sink-or-float experiment. M walked right into the middle of the puddles, so I drug the sprinkler off to the side and he toddled in and out of it until he was naked and dripping and laughing his little toddler head off! Oh, how I wish I'd had the camera!

Well, here's what's left of the garden post tree incident. I'm afraid the soil's not that great (even our grass won't grow in places), but I've started some more little seedlings in the house, hoping to try again. The tomatoes are supposed to mature in two or three weeks, but we'll see. Maybe we should build a frame around this and fill it with soil, like SouleMama does... Anyways...

Happy June everone!

M is One!

So here's the Birthday Boy! He's a whole year old now! We had a simple, fun day.

Here's M opening his sit-and-ride car from Nana & Pappy...

Ah, the joy...
You mean this is all mine? I get first dibs? (I mean, everyone has to have that one thing they get dibs on, specially little brothers)
Here's the cool ball Aunt Lindsay and Niel brought Micah (yes, we have to share)...

Praise the Lord for Gramma & Grampa! We really needed these PJ's! All the clothes they sent were soooo cute! Do you think he's wondering why Mama's letting him rip all this paper?

George 1 and George 2. Ha ha. Bad joke. There were two monkeys.

Mmmm... Raspberry Birthday Cake! Where's the shovel?

Niel stealing Aunt Lindsay's cake - tee hee.

Look! Look! A family photo! Two family photos!

We also went to the nursery and picked up some stuff, as we're going to try our hands at gardening this season. L helped me start some seeds in peat pots - he really enjoyed looking at all the different kinds of seeds and opening the seed packs with me. What a big help! I can't wait to see what he thinks as they grow!
